PVC flooring is comparable to solid wood flooring

PVC flooring possesses numerous superior properties. This new type of PVC flooring is made primarily from PVC resin powder, various fillers, additives, and recycled materials, with the addition of REC rare earth calcium-zinc stabilizers. It is produced using micro-foamed polyvinyl chloride boards as raw materials, fundamentally different from lead-based PVC materials. PVC flooring boasts many excellent properties, such as moisture resistance, mildew resistance, water resistance, and wear resistance. Indoor use of PVC flooring makes it less prone to aging and deformation.

The surface of PVC flooring has a special, high-tech processed transparent wear-resistant layer. PVC flooring can withstand up to 300,000 abrasion revolutions, while engineered wood flooring only withstands 13,000 revolutions. Simultaneously, PVC flooring has good sound absorption and noise reduction effects, absorbing up to 20 decibels. Therefore, in environments requiring quiet, such as hospital wards, libraries, lecture halls, and theaters, PVC flooring can prevent the sound of high heels hitting the floor. Furthermore, PVC flooring possesses the processing properties of wood, with good nail-holding power, allowing for drilling, sawing, nailing, planing, and gluing.

PVC flooring installation is very quick and easy, requiring no supporting framework. For subfloors in good condition, a special environmentally friendly adhesive is used, and the flooring can be used after 24 hours. Besides its appearance, the feel of PVC flooring is similar to that of wood flooring and marble slabs. The key to successful PVC flooring lies in controlling the density and elasticity of the material during production to closely resemble the material being imitated. It is precisely because of this close resemblance in density and elasticity that this new type of PVC flooring is so effective.

PVC flooring’s good elasticity effectively disperses the impact on the feet. Research data shows that in high-traffic areas, the installation of superior PVC flooring reduces the rate of falls and injuries by nearly 70% compared to other flooring types. The wear-resistant layer on the surface of PVC flooring has special anti-slip properties; compared to ordinary flooring materials, it provides even greater grip when wet, making it less slippery.

Currently, PVC flooring offers a wide variety of patterns and colors, but most focus on high-fidelity simulation, including imitations of carpet, stone, and wood flooring. The textures are realistic and beautiful, with rich and vibrant colors. The most popular types are wood-look PVC flooring and marble-look PVC flooring. Wood-look PVC flooring possesses the delicate texture and natural feel of wood flooring, with more refined versions even resembling the rustic charm of antique wood flooring. Marble-look PVC flooring, on the other hand, features the rich, natural textures of natural stone. In terms of visual effect and feel, PVC flooring is virtually indistinguishable from genuine wood and marble flooring.
